• Missed our the Bella Lucca Spring Collection Trunk Show?- Check out the pictures from this great biannual event - gathering of dogs and Lauries's great harnesses and raincoats. Orders still can be taken. We have the catalog and can take your dogs measurements as well.
  
  
• Introducing "The Treat Roll Up" by Laurie and The Bella Lucca Collection - a new interactive dog toy to keep your dog busy and reward them as well - - Fun to play with and great to look at. If interested let us know. Check out the pictures to see the toy in action.
  
  
• Decia's Portrait Painted by Emmet Duggan - Sunday May 2 - Emmett spent the afternoon at Cause to Paws painting Decia's portrait - from a photo with enhancements from real life. It was great to watch him in action. Check out the process and the final product. You can check at other work by Emmett at www.emmettduggan.com. Commissions available so you can immortalize your pet as well.

  The winning medals & gift certificates for best dressed/ costume were bride & groom yorkies Mia & Pallina owned by Linda & Jim Juppe. Other winners included, Queen Esther, aka Peanut, owned by Heidi Sedovsky, and Lucky June dressed as Santa Claus, owned by Golda Huebner.
  
  The dogs dunked for discounts and bobbed for Hebrew National hot dogs. Dogs were served mini carrot & carob hamentaschen made by Terry Meyers and their humans had ones from Kupels bakery. There were lots more treats for the dogs & their people including kosher dog treats from Wagatha's that are all organic and made in Vermont. Every dog "won" a medal and each one left with a plush Star of David toy.

  Duffy walks in Boston! Owner, Mary Montione, recently wrote a children's book about her dog who became diabetic last year. She, her children and Duffy walked at the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Step Out Walk in Boston on October 24. They walked as part of "Haley's Carb Counting Court" team. The team is pictured above on Boston Common! Duffy was the inspiration behind Montione's newest low carb biscotti.

• Northeast Animal Shelter
  
  In June we participated in the Grand Opening of the new Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, MA - We sponsored a table and raffled off a Doggy Gift Basket with all proceeds going to the shelter. Fun was had by all and lots of money was raised to help the shelter. Click here to see pictures
